Little Black Dress is looking forward to August and to booking a trip up to beautiful Edinburgh for a comedy fix at the Edinburgh Fringe – the best place outside the latest LBD title to get us giggling.
We plan to support the sisterhood by seeing the lovely Josie Long’s show ‘Trying is Good’ (love the title, love the homemade poster!), or the irrepressibly girlie Lucy Porter’s ‘Love-in’. Afterwards we will be haunting various venue bars on the look out for a lonely comic far from home- GSOH is so attractive in a man…

Just Another Manic Monday
As we wave goodbye to the weekend and enter the working week once more, things can seem a little gloomy.
But all is not lost - the sun is out and this post contains the fabulous folky phonics of Feist - guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

Are they? Aren't they?
Looks like Chantelle & Preston's marriage may not be not be quite as doomed as it first seemed (i.e. when they announced that they were getting divorced).
This week the pair were spotted returning to the Brighton home they once shared, with bags full of groceries. So was a romantic meal and a spot of reconciliation on the cards perhaps?
Now if I was cynical I might suggest that this whole divorce debacle was a rather cunning way of the couple making even more squids when they sell their 'How we realised that we just couldn't live without each other' story with exclusive photographs of their 're-newing of vows ceremony'. But as I don't have a cynical bone in my body (Uh, uh. No way, not me) I will just suggest that you watch this space...and the new stands!

C'est chic n'est pas?'
Tour de France last weekend, Bastille Day this weekend...at Little Black Dress we're experiencing a trés French moment! There's a veritable chocolate box of tantalisingly romantic flicks to pick from at the cinema - Ma Vie En Rose, Moliere, Paris Je t'aime...
If you're still not satisfied after these, why not hunt out the original Parisian love story Breathless or 2004's Before Sunset on DVD? On the small screen BBC2's series Paris just makes the LBD team want to relocate the office to a leafy boulevard in the Marais and thrash out cover issues on a terrace café. La Petite Robe Noir - it could work!!! It is the home city of Coco Chanel after all...
